Question Dedicated Minipet Re-Acquisition

How to explain this...

How many of you have say 100 minipets dedicated in your hall, yet no room for them all in your inventory? What if you could dedicate them, and of course be able to sell the dedicated version, but if you do not have them anymore in your inventory anymore, wouldn't it be ok to run to you hall, and get a copy of the minipet you have dedicated, but this one is NON-TRADEABLE. This pretty much makes us able to have quite a few favored pets, but not have to sacrifice all the inventory/storage space to keep all of them.

I've said this would be a good idea for a long time. Make an NPC like the hat trader in the HoM.

i agree that it would be nice to reaquire dedicated minipets however it will throw people off whom are trying to sell SINGLE ded minis...theyd have to somehow check if they were DOUBLE DED. however if there was a way to have a panel much like the (show headpiece/show costume) for the dedicated minipets u have in your HoM without having the mini in your inventory it will be a different story, but youd have to have already dedicated that particular miniature. this way theyd not have to have it in inventory, people can still sell dedicated minis the old fashioned way, they can ded them still in order to keep their numbers of minis to show & prices wont fluctuate.

that is a great idea. if u throw this in your idea im sure others would agree sometimes the one inventory slot is everything.

remember the bottom right inward area of the inventory is empty for another"show THIS OR THAT" button...

/signed with edits.

Just call the non-tradeable pets for something else to separate them from dedicated.
Personal Minipet? Like, Personal Jungle troll minipet ?

in anyway,

^This.

Its like having a Panda, dedicating it, selling it on and then still being able to get it out. Doesn't seem fair to me.

As someone who just had to start a SECOND mule for just minis... /signed

The "economy" argument is bogus, since high-end minis don't affect the economy in any meaningful way, they just get shuffled around between the same tiny percentage of the population.

Someone making/sacrificing extra storage to keep his/her dedicated pets isn't going to sell them, so let's change the idea a little bit.

Make it like the menagerie/ranger pets work. If you want to store the dedicated pet for later use, turn it in to an npc. So it will disappear from your inventory after you showed it to the npc. This npc should only accept dedicated mini's ofc.

After this is done you can get nontradeable versions of it on all your accounts characters, personal mini's or whatever.

This way everyone keeps the choice, sell your ded pets or make them eternally useable for your account without having to waste allot of space.

This I'd /sign for.

I agree with the above.
If you want to make money from the mini but you're having it around anyway isn't right.
But as I see the inventory issue I'd second something like this:

So you have a way to store them out of inventory but can't make profit and keep at the same time.

I like my minis. Have to keep most on another char because of space issues.

I think the idea is that if you double dedicate it you don't get to keep a regular dedicated version.
So you can dedicate it and have a dedicated version to sell, or you can double dedicate it and get unlimited "Personal" pets. So you cant sell and then get more.

i agree with the economy part; it in no way, shape or form messes with the economy. And just to be able to have one means you worked hard for it. It would be another "show me in trade" and you would have to say "its the NT (non-tradeable) copy" - to most ppl that would be the same as a whiptail devourer at that point.

Computer/console games inventory space management is a difficult issue for most players....GW included.

I welcome any way to reduce items with limited use without absolute loss of the items for future use.
